A Rebel With A Cause is dedicated to stories and issues that motivate me into wanting to change the world. While I know that one lowly person on this planet has little chance of transforming our present state, I feel that by sharing my thoughts and concerns, I can contribute in some small way.

I have a M.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Regensburg, Germany. After having spent years in research, I have decided to pursue a career in science and nature filmmaking. Currently, I am a MFA candidate in the Science & Nature Filmmaking program at Montana State University – Bozeman. Although I feel strongly about raising public awareness of scientific issues, many of my passions lie in sociopolitical issues (environment, conservation, human rights, etc.).
